Text to Binary

Convert text to binary. Computers store all letters as integers, which are saved as binary data. Binary code represents computer instructions or text using the digits 0 and 1 (binary numbers). Each instruction or symbol is assigned a bit string. The strings can represent instructions, letters, or symbols. These codes are used to encode data in computing.

This base-2 or binary numeric system is utilized in mathematics and computer science. Only two symbols are used to denote values in the system. The values in binary systems are commonly referred to as binary numbers.

Internally, computers employ the binary system in digital electronics, and more precisely in digital electrical circuits that use logic gates (with values of 0 and 1). Computer-based gadgets, including mobile phones, employ the binary system as well.
